HOW IT WORKS
Overview
Our proprietary polymer based product is mixed with reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), which include aggregates and oxidized bitumen. The process of mixing these ingredients (reactants) together softens the oxidized bitumen already present on the aggregate and creates a new, very fine layer of poly-bituminous material. This material, when in the presence of pressure caused by compaction during installation will break and then chemically bond to the existing surface. This process will cause the new mixture to permanently adhere to the existing material indefinitely.
